"The strengths and passions I value are not part of any job description or resume skill set. Rather, they are the cornerstones of my identity, the foundations of my personal path."

Servant Leader
The
Tempered Radical
"The value I have found most predominant in my leadership approach, as well as my approach as a human being, is service. Leadership centered in service is the most effective and most natural for my personality, strengths, faith and core values, but does not come without a cost that has taken me years to identify, understand and address. I have often wondered if my service leadership approach is due to my passive personality traits or my distaste for conflict or confrontation. At one time, I thought my servant leader approach was a weakness. Now, as a result of experience and great mentorship, I have come to view this as a strength. I will always strive to build relationships, look for growth opportunities in challenges and always attempt to teach rather than tell."
